What is Exported and Imported via API channel manager

Lodgify currently offers four API channel manager integrations through which you can connect to Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, and VRBO. In this article, you find the full list of what is and is not synchronized.

Airbnb - ❗ Only pre manual and pre-authorized security deposits of fixed amounts will be synchronized. Amounts set as % will not be synchronized. The security deposit only appears as a text in the Airbnb page ; it is currently not possible to manage the security deposit for Airbnb reservations in Lodgify. It needs to be managed and collected outside Lodgify.
If you are in full sync, all tax types (except NULL, Tourism Assessment, and Unknown) are supported, while in partial sync only percentage-based taxes are exported. Learn more here.

You must collect payments through Lodgify. To do so, you must activate a credit card gateway in Lodgify or activate Paypal. 💡 Note: With Paypal, it is not possible to schedule automatic subsequent payments or make automatic refunds, this is only possible if you accept credit card payments. Guests will see a Bill me option at checkout on Vrbo, which allows them to pay later. You must send them a manual payment request in Lodgify to complete the payment.
