- Braintree (See the list of available countries here)
-
Stripe (see the list of available countries here.
💡 Note: Stripe is supported in Mexico, but only with Express accounts.

|
💡 Note: You will be charged a 1% + VAT Transaction Fee by Lodgify for each payment received via Stripe, and a 1% Transaction Fee for each payment received via Authorize.Net, Braintree, and Paypal. This transaction fee is charged so we can continuously work on offering more value-adding payment-related features for you.

Additional information on Stripe accounts
If you chose to connect with Stripe, here are some extra information:
- Google Pay, Apple Pay and Link payment methods are enabled by default on your checkout page. You can disable them in your Stripe dashboard under the Wallets section:
💡 Note: These payment methods incur the same Stripe fees as credit cards. If you have activated other payment methods like BLIK or Przelewy24 (P24) in Stripe, please note that we do not currently support these methods on our side.
Even if they are enabled in your Stripe account, they will not be offered to guests at checkout.- If you created your account from Stripe or if you logged in with an existing Stripe account, your connection with Lodgify will be classified as a business. So within your Stripe account, you can add or remove any other businesses (or connections), as you consider necessary. A connection created using Lodgify will show up in your Stripe dashboard with the Lodgify symbol.
You can always remove a Lodgify-connected account by going to Account settings in Stripe and clicking Close account at the bottom right of the page.
If you have any other questions regarding your Stripe account, please contact Stripe or refer to their guide here. -
Depending on where your Stripe account and your customer are based, your customer might receive an error message like this when trying to pay: "Stripe doesn't currently support application fees for platforms in /country/ with connected accounts in /country/."
If this happens, please reach out to us so we can help resolve the issue.
💡 Note: Keep in mind that Lodgify does not have access to your Stripe account, associated connections, or funds within. If you have any issues with your account, please contact Stripe customer support.

🔎 Use case: What happens if you change from Payyo to Stripe?
If you are connected to Payyo but want to change your credit card payment gateway to Stripe, you can do so. Just go to your payment settings and activate Stripe as a payment gateway.
⚠ Important: For all bookings that have pending transactions, the payment request will not happen automatically in this case. This is because the new payment gateway (Stripe) has not yet stored the guest's credit card information. Therefore, you will need to send the guest a manual payment request. All new transactions will be handled automatically via Stripe.
