If you want to make changes to a quote, your options change depending on the Quote status and if the booking has an active Policy & Quote workflow. Find out how to make changes to a quote in different use cases.
💡 Notes:
- Bookings imported from an external source (Booking.com, Airbnb, HomeAway, etc.) only have limited editing options.
- To edit the guest details, you need to go into the Guest box inside the reservation. Find out more on how to make changes to the guest's details.

Use case: No active Policy & Quote workflow
Go to your Main Menu in the top left corner, select Reservations and enter the booking you want to edit. Now you can either edit the entire booking (dates, rental, etc.) or specifically edit the quote.
Edit the entire booking
Click on Edit booking. A new slider will open up where you can:
- Edit rental & rental type, dates, and number of guests
- Update prices, fees, taxes, and add-ons
- Activate a Policy & Quote workflow and add a policy
Edit the quote
Click on the three dots in the Quote box and select a specific action from the drop-down menu:
- Edit prices: To update room rate, fees, taxes, add-ons, etc.
- Add policy: To activate the Policy & Quote workflow and add a policy
- Add new Quote: To create an entirely new quote to send to the guest. Learn more about additional quotes.
💡 Note: Quotes with an agreed status cannot be modified anymore. For example, it is not possible to modify the quote of a reservation with a "booked" status.
Use case: Active Policy & Quote workflow + Quote status tentative
As long as the Quote status of a booking with an active Policy & Quote workflow is tentative or open, you cannot edit prices or the policy. Indeed, either the guest or the owner still has to accept the quote and all booking conditions. The only way to edit the quote would be to create a new quote.
To do so:
- Go to your Main Menu in the top left corner, select Reservations.
- Enter the booking you want to edit.
- Now, click on the three dots in the Quote box and select Add new Quote.
- A new slider will open up where you can create an entirely new quote. Learn more about additional quotes.
Use case: Active Policy & Quote workflow + Quote status agreed
Once a booking with an active Policy & Quote workflow has an agreed quote, you can only edit the quote by making a Change request.
💡 Note: As the policy is your booking contract, it cannot be amended. In case you would like to amend the policy, you would need to create an entirely new booking.
To edit the quote, follow these steps:
- Go to your Main Menu in the top left corner, select Reservations.
- Enter the booking you want to edit.
- Now, click on the three dots in the Quote box and select Guest makes change request.
- The slider with the existing booking details will open up where you can now edit the rental type, dates, number of guests, prices, fees, taxes, or add-ons.
💡 Note: Once finished, the details of the previous quote can still be accessed by going into Other Quotes.
💡 Note: If the booking is imported from HomeAway/VRBO and you want to make a change to the quote, please remember that any mark-up that you have configured for HomeAway bookings would not be automatically applied. To find out how to apply the mark-up manually, check here.
