Find and understand the source of a booking

Each booking has a specific source, whether it comes from an external channel, from your website, or if you created it manually. To understand where a booking is coming from, you can always check your booking in Lodgify's reservation system.

In the following article, we will show you quickly where to find the source of a booking and understand what this means.

You can easily see the source at the top of your reservation:

Source Example
Manual
💡 Note: This means you created the booking yourself in the calendar or the reservation system

This booking was created manually in the reservation system. If you don't fill in a source when adding the reservation, it will simply state from Manual. Otherwise, the source you added will be displayed.

Website check-out

If someone makes a booking, booking request, or booking inquiry via the check-out page of your website, the source will appear as your website's URL. For example, the source sill be "from hello.lodgify.com".

If someone contacts you via the contact form, the source will appear as your website's URL.
