Configure your default rate settings

This article explains how to set the default rate of your rentals and configure certain conditions for bookings and stays. To read about setting up season rates click here. To read about adding multiple fees and taxes to your rates click here.

๐Ÿ’ก Note: Each rental must have a default rate configured. This rate will be used to calculate booking costs during periods in which no season rate applies or when the connection to an external rate source like Pricelabs gets disconnected.
๐Ÿ’ก Note: The default rate must be configured even if you want to restrict bookings only to the periods of your season rates. To restrict your availabilities to certain periods, you can use our Booking Window feature and create Closed periods.
