Disconnect from the Channel Manager

In this article you can find the instructions on how to disconnect from our Booking.com, Airbnb Professional, Expedia and HomeAway/VRBO channel manager connections.

Disconnect from Booking.com

Please be aware that removing the Channel Manager will mean that your Lodgify and Booking.com calendars won’t be synced anymore so you will need to manually manage your reservations between platforms or sync your calendars via the iCal connection

To disconnect:

1. Go to your Booking.com Extranet account and select the Account icon in the top right-hand corner.
2. Choose
Channel manager from the drop-down menu.
3. Select the Deactivate button to cancel the connection to your provider.

💡 Note: Once the connection is deactivated, all previous settings will be reset and you will manually manage your rate, availability, and bookings from Booking.com. 

If the above option to disconnect is not available to you, please contact Booking.com via their ‘Inbox’ tab.

4. Finally, write an email to help@lodgify.com notifying us that you wish to deactivate your booking.com channel manager. We will respond to confirm that the connection has been removed from our side too. 

 

Disconnect from Airbnb Professional

Please be aware that removing the Channel Manager will mean that your Lodgify and Airbnb calendars won’t be synced anymore so you will need to manually manage your reservations between platforms. Alternatively, you can activate the Airbnb Basic connection which syncs only availability and reservations. Find out more about the Airbnb Basic connection.

To disconnect:

  1. Login into your Airbnb account.
  2. Click on your logo image in the top right corner and select Account or Account Settings from the drop-down menu.
  3. On the next page select Privacy & Sharing.

  4. Select the Lodgify box and finally click the red Remove access button.

  5. Finally, write an email to help@lodgify.com notifying us that you wish to deactivate your Airbnb Professional connection. We will respond to confirm that the connection has been removed from our side too. 

 

Disconnect from Expedia

Please be aware that removing the Channel Manager will mean that your Lodgify and Expedia calendars won’t be synced anymore so you will need to manually manage your reservations between platforms or sync your calendars via the iCal connection.  

To disconnect:

  1. Login to www.expediapartnercentral.com
  2. Select your hotel and go to Rooms and Rates. Under SETUP you can find Expedia Connectivity Settings.

  3. Select Disconnect providers.

    A green message will appear confirming that You are now disconnected

 

Disconnect from HomeAway/VRBO

Please be aware that removing the Channel Manager will mean that your Lodgify and HomeAway/VRBO calendars won’t be synced anymore so you will need to manually manage your reservations between platforms or sync your calendars via the iCal connection

To disconnect:

  1. It is firstly necessary to reach out to HomeAway/VRBO's Support Team to request the disconnection from their side.
  2. Once done, write an email to help@lodgify.com notifying us that you wish to deactivate your HomeAway/VRBO channel manager. We will respond to confirm that the connection has been removed from our side too.
