- You must have at least 5 rentals assigned to your website.

- If you are using the legacy Room Types feature, your room types count towards the 5 rental minimum as well.
- Each rental must:

- have a Name and description (beyond just the name).
- have at least 1 bed.
- have at least 5 photos with captions.
Each image should be at least 720 pixels wide and at least 720 pixels high. The aspect ratio should be 4:3. - not be registered as a hotel in Google.

- Your website must be published. Learn how to publish your website.
The flow for guests
Guests can find your rental and its availability via Google, where they can then click on "Learn More" to see a Google landing page for your rental. On this landing page, they will see:
- The logo and domain of your Lodgify website
- Your rental's name and photos
- Property details such as property type, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, maximum occupancy, amenities
- The price per night (net in the US, gross everywhere else)
- The option to "Visit site" which redirects guests to your website to finalize their booking
Once redirected, your guest will be on the Overview page of the rental they found on Google Vacation Rentals. From there they can go on to your checkout to complete the booking as normal or navigate further through your site.
Connect Lodgify to Google Vacation Rentals
Whilst you can easily set up the connection with Google Vacation Rentals yourself, do keep in mind that the completion of the connection process is done by Google Vacation Rentals. This can take a few days or weeks depending on the number of listings and size of your listings. For example: if you have many listings with many photos, it will take longer.
To connect:
- Go to your Main Menu in the top left corner and select Channel Manager.
- Click on the Google card "List Rentals":
- You will see a list of your rentals that are both completed and assigned to a website, and their status. The next step depends on the statuses of your listings:
Status Explanation Not listed The rental has not been sent to Google yet, as the connection process with Google hasn't been started yet.
Click "Set up" to see:- A list of mandatory conditions to be checked and confirmed.
- A list of Google's requirements, and direct links to change your configurations for requirements not met.
Once both lists have been actioned, the status of your rental will change to "Ready". Click on "List rental" to send your rental's information to Google, pending for Google to complete the connection on their side.
Ready and queued This rental is ready to be listed on Google Vacation Rentals, pending Lodgify's verification. This verification is done once every 24 hours.
💡 Note: This status may also show if you have not met the requirement of having at least 5 rentals assigned to one website.
Sent to Google Your rentals have been validated and added to Google's feed, and are now pending publication by Google.
💡 Note: This status may also show if you have not met the requirement of having at least 5 rentals assigned to one website.
Synced With Warnings Your rental was validated by Lodgify, and sent to Google's feed. However, rentals with this status did not pass Google's validation and are therefor not published. Click on the status for information on what needs to be changed in order to pass validation.
Missing Requirements Changes were made to a previously validated rental, resulting in no longer meeting all requirements. Click on the status for information on resolving this.
💡 Note: This status may also show if you have not met the requirement of having at least 5 rentals assigned to one website.
Sync Failed Lodgify validated your rentals, but was unable to send the rentals to Google Vacation Rentals due to a technical error. Click on the status for information.
Partially Synced The rental was sent to Google for all the languages in which the rental meets requirements. Click on the status for information.
Unlisting rentals from Google Vacation Rentals
You can easily unlist your rentals.
💡 Note: If unlisting a rental brings you under the minimum of 5 listings requirement, your entire account will be unlisted from Google Vacation rental.
To unlist a rental:
- Go to your Main Menu in the top left corner and select Channel Manager.
- You will see a list of your connected rental.
- Click Edit behind the listing you want to disconnect, and select Unlist.
