If you notice an availability discrepancy between Lodgify and Airbnb, follow these steps to understand why.
Step 1. Simulate the booking
- In your Lodgify calendar, start creating a booking. Select the dates to verify the availability.
- Then, open your Airbnb listing page (as if you were a guest) and select the same dates.
- Compare the availability on Airbnb to what is shown in Lodgify.
Step 2. Check the availability settings
If you have added a custom setup per channel to your availability settings, your availability in Airbnb might differ from Lodgify. To check your settings, follow these steps:
- Go to the Availability section of your rental in Lodgify.
- Check the availability settings from the table below:
| Availability setting | Allows custom setup per channel |
|---|---|
Minimum stay |
❌ |
Maximum stay |
❌ |
Booking window |
✔️ |
Advance notice |
✔️ |
Preparation time |
✔️ |
Unavailable check-in/out days |
❌ |
- If needed, you can edit or disable the custom setup per channel.
Step 3. Check for nightly overrides
- In your Lodgify calendar, check if you have added nightly overrides.
- If you edited the minimum stay from the calendar, it might differ from your availability settings in your rental.
Step 4. Check for calendar blocks
- In your Lodgify calendar, check if there is any element blocking the dates.
- Find more information about calendar blocks in this article.
