Guest registration: connect to Feratel Austria

If you manage a vacation rental in Austria, you are required to send guest data to Feratel in order to comply with local regulations.

Connect to Feratel

To connect Lodgify to your Feratel platform, follow these steps:

1. You first need to contact the municipality office and inform them that you will be sending data to Feratel through "Chekin" (company code: VTCH3K1N). They will activate the connection on your Feratel account and provide you with a community number (Gemeinde) and a mapping code (Objektcode).
2. On Lodgify, if you haven’t done so already, you will first need to activate the guest registration feature.
3. Once activated, you will need to complete this section in the Guest Registration Form for Authorities tab in Lodgify for each rental you manage:
4. Add your Community number (Gemeinde) and Mapping code (Objektcode) and click Validate.

If you encounter an error while trying to validate the credentials added in Lodgify, it may be because:

• The codes entered in Lodgify are incorrect
• The municipality has not yet activated the Feratel interface connection for the relevant units.
  

To check if your credentials are correct, you can copy and paste the following link into your browser’s address bar:

In this URL, replace:

• The XXXX next to betriebnr= with your mapping code
• The XXXX next to oestat= with your community number.

Then press Enter, and the browser will display a response.

Activate the Guests Cards generation and sending

Automate the In order to automate the generation and sending of Guest Cards, you can activate the toggle in the Guest Registration Form for Authorities tab in Lodgify:

When this option is enabled, we will also ask guests to provide their private email address. Once the guest data is sent to Feratel, we will request Feratel to generate the Guest Cards for those guests and deliver them directly via email.
