Guest registration: connect to SEF Portugal

If you manage a vacation rental in Portugal, you are required to send guest data to SEF in order to comply with local regulations.

Connect to SEF

To connect Lodgify to your SEF platform, follow these steps:

  1. On Lodgify, if you haven’t done so already, you will first need to activate the guest registration feature.
  2. Once activated, you will need to complete this section in the Guest Registration Form for Authorities tab in Lodgify for each rental you manage:
  3. Pick SEF - SIBA Web Service Integration, as the older SEF - SIBA no Portal Integration is expected to be discontinued soon.
    If you were previously using the old method (SEF - SIBA no Portal Integration), log in to your SEF account, change the Submission method to Web Service, and then go to Lodgify and select SEF - SIBA Web Service Integration.

💡 Note: Guest data is automatically sent to the authorities on the day of check-in at approximately 19:00 UTC. If guests register after this time, you will need to send the data manually from the reservation.
