WelcomeScreen is an all-in-one digital signage solution that helps short-term rental hosts elevate their guest experience. Designed for vacation rentals, it transforms any TV into a personalized welcome hub, displaying essential information such as WiFi details, emergency contacts, local weather, and more. You can also use WelcomeScreen to share custom messages, promote direct bookings, and even generate additional revenue by advertising local businesses.
Requirements
To use Lodgify with WelcomeScreen, you must have one of the following devices or TVs to download the WelcomeScreen app onto your TV:
- Chromecast
- Roku
- Amazon Firestick
- Any smart TV that includes the Google Play Store (e.g., Xiaomi TV, Mi TV, etc.)
Set up the connection between Lodgify and WelcomeScreen
If you're not a WelcomeScreen client yet, you can create your account here.
Then, follow these steps:
- Log in to your WelcomeScreen account, navigate to the Properties section of the dashboard, and click on Sync Properties.
- Then, select Lodgify.
- Enter your Lodgify API key and click Submit.
Once connected, your rentals and reservations will be imported from Lodgify. You can then return to the Properties section to set up a welcome screen for your property. WelcomeScreen will automatically pull basic information from the reservation, such as the guest's name, which can be displayed on the screen. You can also manually add more details through the WelcomeScreen dashboard.
Make sure you’ve installed a compatible device and downloaded the WelcomeScreen app on your TV. You can find setup instructions for the following devices here:
Your rentals and reservations will be managed from Lodgify, while Check-in / Check-out times, Weather, Wifi, Host contact info, Background music, Screen layout, Information for guests, Local events and Upsells will be handled through WelcomeScreen.
