When connecting your OTAs to Lodgify, you might want to set things up differently from your Lodgify website. For example, you may want to assign specific charges, such as fees, taxes, or promotions, to certain OTAs. It could be applying a different cleaning fee for Booking.com than the one shown on your Lodgify website.
Assign charges per OTA (Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo)
If you have charges that you want to differentiate for Airbnb, Vrbo, and/or Booking.com, you can create a new charge and assign it to a particular OTA only.
💡 Notes: To assign a charge to an OTA, the rental must already be connected to the channel manager.
The way you assign charges per OTA will depend on your current account version. You can identify your account version as shown below:
- Legacy account version - In your rental's Pricing page, charges are shown in separate sections.
- New account version - In your rental's Pricing page, charges are shown in the “Additional charges” section.
Assign charges per OTA in the legacy account version ▾
To assign a charge to an OTA, follow these steps:
- Go to your left-hand menu and select Rentals.
- Select the rental that you want to configure and select Pricing.
- Click + Add to create your new charge (if you haven't already).
- Once the charge is added, click the three dots on the right and select Restrictions.
- You will be prompted to choose which platforms you want to assign this charge to. By default, restrictions apply to all connected OTAs, but you can tick or untick specific platforms as needed.

Assign charges per OTA in the new account version ▾
You can assign different values for the same charge. To do so, enable Custom setup per channel:
- Go to your left-hand menu and select Rentals.
- Select the rental that you want to configure and select Pricing.
- Click the relevant section: Fees, Taxes, or Discounts.
- Select the charge you want to manage.
- Enable the Custom setup per channel toggle for that charge.
- Enter a value for each channel. To exclude the charge from a channel completely, set that channel's value to 0.
💡 Note: The custom setup per channel option only appears for channels that support the charge. If a channel does not support it, the option to set a value for that channel is not shown. You can find details about what is imported to and exported from the channel manager for each channel here.
