Adjust your OTA mark-up

The mark-up is the percentage adjustment that will be applied to the base rate sent to your OTA (Airbnb, Booking.com...).
You can use the mark-up to increase or decrease the price sent to the OTA and to counterbalance, for example, the OTA commission

🔎 Example:
Nightly price in Lodgify: $100 per night
Mark-up: 15%
➡ Nightly price in the OTA selected: $115 per night

To set up and adjust your mark-up, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your left-hand menu and select Rentals.
  2. Select the rental you want to adjust the mark-up for, then go to Pricing and click the pencil next to Mark-up.
  3. Set a mark-up for each OTA the rental is connected to and click Save.
If you want to send a lower price to an OTA, you can simply set a negative mark-up (for example, -10).

💡 Note: You cannot apply a mark-up to direct bookings, so simply set your desired prices for direct bookings directly in your Lodgify rates. Then use the mark-up feature to adjust the prices sent to OTAs, increasing or decreasing them on the connected platforms.
