DropInBlog Integration

DropInBlog allows you to integrate a full-featured blog into your Lodgify website by simply pasting a few lines of code. Once integrated, DropInBlog will automatically inherit the look and feel of your website to blend seamlessly into your design. Use DropInBlog to create SEO-optimized blog posts in order to help boost your search engine ranking and increase your website audience.

Set up the connection between Lodgify and DropInBlog

In DropInBlog:

1. Create your DropInBag account by signing up for a free trial.
2. Log in to your DropInBlog account and go to Code & Layout.
3. Copy the two lines of code shown under Step 1 and Step 2.
   

In Lodgify:

1. Log in to your Lodgify account and go to Website Builder.
2. Click Pages and either add a new page or open an existing one. When choosing the title of the page, we suggest “Blog”.
   
   
   
3. Then click Add section and Custom HTML.
   
4. In the box, paste the Step 1 and Step 2 code that you copied from your DropInBlog account. Then click Save.
5. Preview your new blog by clicking View Website and Preview Version. Once you are ready to put your blog live on your website, you can publish your website.

In DropInBlog:

1. For the final step, go to the Settings page of your DropInBlog account.
2. In the Blog URL field, check the domain that is shown. If it shows your preview URL, find the live URL of your blog page and paste it here. Then click Save All Changes.
   

Congratulations, you’ve successfully integrated DropInBlog into your Lodgify website! You can now navigate to the Posts page and start writing. Remember to use the built-in SEO analyzer to optimize each of your blog posts.
