Cancel your subscription

You can request to cancel your active website subscription at any time. Cancelations disable the automatic renewal of your subscription, and you will be able to access your account until the subscription expires.

If you cancel a subscription whose expiration date lies in the future, you will still be charged transaction fees for your bookings as long as you have an active payment gateway. If you were subscribed to our Lite or Starter plan, you will also be charged booking fees as long as your account is active (even though the subscription is canceled) and you are receiving bookings. 

To request a subscription cancelation, you can either follow the steps below or email us, and an agent will get back to you as soon as possible.

Cancel your subscription

In order to cancel your subscription plan:

  1. Go to your Account Menu in the bottom left corner and select Billing.
  2. Select the website you want to cancel the subscription for and click on the three dots.

  3. A pop-up window opens up where you should give some feedback or a reason why you want to cancel. This helps us to understand your situation, improve our services and better adapt our product to your needs.
    To activate the Cancel Subscription button, you must select a reason for canceling, answer the question "Are you going to another platform?", and provide a brief message of at least 18 characters.   4. Then, the cancellation process will depend on the number of rentals you have:
    • If you have more than one rental : One of our agents will get in touch with you as soon as possible to process the cancelation.
    • If you have one rental: Your cancellation will be processed automatically. 
      To confirm that your subscription has been successfully canceled, log in to your account and check the subscription status in the billing section. It should indicate Canceled. If you no longer have access to your account, this confirms that your subscription has been canceled.

💡 Notes:

  • We recommend disconnecting all your listings in the channel manager before proceeding. You can click here for a step-by-step guide on how to do this.
  • If you want to take your website offline before your subscription expires, make sure you set it as offline by following the steps here.
  • If you want to transfer your domain from Lodgify to an external provider, you can request this through our Support team. We will be able to unlock the domain and provide the Transfer Authorization Code. Please note that, due to ICANN regulations, domains cannot be transferred within the first 60 days after being registered or transferred.
  • If you are connected to VRBO, some booking payments may be scheduled to be made after the paid-through date has expired, when you lose access to Lodgify. In this case, you must charge the customer's credit card before this expiry date or manage this payment separately from Lodgify or VRBO, for example by asking them to pay the balance on arrival.
