You can take your website temporarily or permanently offline depending, if you just need to make some structural changes or if you still have an active subscription but decided not to rent your rental out any longer. Once you put your website offline, it will become invisible and inaccessible to users and search engines. You can put your website back online at any time, but please be aware that taking your website offline temporarily might harm your Google search listings.
When you take your website offline, it will no longer be visible. However, this does not affect your subscription. If you want to adjust your billing, you can do so from the account settings. Find more instructions for downgrading or upgrading your subscription here.
Taking your website offline is likely to suspend your Channel Manager connections, similar to unassigning a rental from a website. Keep in mind that for Channel Manager connections to function properly, the rental must be assigned to a live website with an active subscription.
- Go to your left-hand menu and select Website builder.
- In the Settings tab, go to Advanced, and click Take Offline.
💡 Note: If you want to put your website back online again, just click Publish Website which is located in the top right corner. You will receive an email with the confirmation that you have published your website again.
