Getting started: Book your onboarding call

Every new Lodgify account includes one free onboarding call with an Onboarding Specialist. The call focuses on getting your channel connections working, so that your rates and availability stay in sync from the start. This article explains which call you are entitled to, how to book it, and what to prepare beforehand.

💡 Note: Onboarding is available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Portuguese. Ask for the call in the language you want it held in.

What your onboarding includes

What you are entitled to depends on your plan and on how many rentals you subscribed to.

💡 Notes:

  • Each account includes one free onboarding.

Book your call

The calendar you book on depends on your plan and on how many rentals you subscribed to, so your booking link is sent to you rather than published here. You will find it in your dashboard, in the emails you receive after you subscribe, and in the prompts that appear in your account. You can also ask our support team for it in the chat, and they will send you the calendar that matches your account.

Prepare for your call

Set up your account before the call, and connect whatever you can on your own. The more that is ready, the more of the call goes to the parts that genuinely need a specialist.

Before your call:

  • Complete at least one rental, with its rates, availability, and policies.
  • If you already have listings on Airbnb or Vrbo, connect them to your rentals through self-mapping before the call. The steps are in Connect to Airbnb via API and Connect to Vrbo.
  • Make sure you are already logged in to all of your channels before the call starts, such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and Vrbo, if you already have them.
  • Write down the questions you want answered, so the time goes where you need it.

What happens during the call

During the call, your specialist will:

  • Set up your account. Review your rentals, rates, availability, and booking rules.
  • Prepare your connections. Check your listings on the channels you use and gather everything needed to sync them with Lodgify, so your calendars stay up to date, and you avoid double bookings.
  • Train you on the essentials. Show you how to manage reservations, guests, and payments day to day.
  • Make it fit your business. Share practical tips based on how you run your rentals, and show you the tools in your plan that can save you time.

⚠️ Important: Connect Airbnb or Vrbo yourself before the call whenever you can. A channel that is already syncing protects your calendar, and it leaves the call free for the connections that need a specialist.

After the call, your Onboarding Specialist sends you a follow-up message with the next steps for your account, based on what the two of you covered. There is no standard list, so what you receive is specific to your setup.

After you book

Once your call is booked, you receive:

  • A Google Calendar invitation with the date, the time, and the Google Meet link.
  • A confirmation email with the date and time you booked.
  • An email with the recommended steps to take before the call, when you book more than 12 hours in advance.
  • An email from your Onboarding Specialist confirming the date, time (with time zone), and Google Meet link. This arrives around 24 hours before the call, or closer to the start time for a last-minute booking.

To move or cancel your call, email your Onboarding Specialist or contact our support team.

💡 Note: The automated confirmations show the date and time without a time zone. Your Onboarding Specialist's email confirms the time zone, so check that one if the times look different.
