If you are working with different partners or agencies who are promoting your rental, you could create an affiliate program and pay your partners a certain commission on each successful booking they achieve. You can do so by creating an individual check-out URL for each partner and each rental.
On the partner/agency website, they can then promote your rental and have a Book button that guides guests directly to your website's checkout page. For each booking successfully made via that checkout URL, your partner will receive a certain commission.
💡 Note: When setting up the affiliate program, you will not be able to create discounts with coupon codes at the same time.
Follow these steps to set everything up:

Set up a Promotion for your rental with the following information:
- A specific name and number for your partner, e.g. call your promotion "affiliatecode1" (if you have more than one partner, you need to create a promotion for each partner and call it "affiliatecode2", etc.).
- Promotion code - affiliatecode1, affiliatecode2, etc.
- Calculation model - None
- Then, make sure the numerical IDs of your website's URLs are not hidden. To do so, go to your Website builder.
In the Settings tab, click Advanced and make sure the Hide the pages IDs box is unticked and click on Save.
- Go to your website's checkout page, simulate a reservation for the rental in question, and add promotion=name_of_the_promotion (e.g., promotion=affiliatecode1) to the end of the URL.
The base URL must follow this format: https://checkout.lodgify.com/Website_Name/Rental_ID/reservation?
You can also find your website name in your Lodgify account under the Domains tab, and your Rental ID under the Rentals tab.

💡 Note: if you have more than one rental, you need to create the checkout-URL for each rental individually. - Copy this modified checkout URL and send it to your partner, so they can then integrate it on their website with a Book button. Whenever a guest now books your rental via your partner's website, you will be able to see the Promotion name in your booking report. Find out how to create a booking report.
💡 Note: At the end of the month, you can then see in your booking report how many confirmed bookings you received via which partner's website, and you can calculate how much commission you need to pay them. To make it even easier, you can use Zapier for your automatic booking reports in Google Sheets and automatically calculate the commission for each booking.
