Configure your season rates settings

Season rates enable you to set different rates for specific time periods, for example during summer or public holidays, when prices usually rise. You can create several season rates, and set each season rate to apply to multiple periods.

💡 Notes:

  • The settings you choose for season rates, override the default rate during the applied period. If you create a new season rate that overlaps with a previously created season rate, the new rate will override the old one.
  •  If you want to set a different price or minimum stay for a specific day, you can do it directly from your calendar.
  • Season rates established while dynamic pricing is active will cease to apply upon deactivation of dynamic pricing, requiring their setup either before enabling dynamic pricing or after its deactivation.

Setting Notes

Season name and date periods

To rename your season rate, click on the text bar and replace the current name with one of your choosing.

To add the dates for which this season rate should apply, click From and select the start and end date.

💡 Note: It is not possible to create a season rate for just one night. To change the rate of just one specific night, use the Nightly override function.

Price per night & min stay

Enter the nightly rate of your rental.
💡 Note: This is a required field, even if you also configure a price per weekday.

If you wish to set a minimum stay, enter the minimum number of nights that a booking must meet.
💡 Note: If you have multiple rental types(legacy feature), you can enter a minimum stay per rental type.

Length-of-stay prices

If you wish to offer a weekly and/or monthly rate, switch the button on and enter the rate per week and/or month.

:bulb: Note: It is not possible to configure custom periods from season rates. A single custom period can be configured from the default rate that can be used as well in the season rates.

Price per weekday

If you wish to charge a different nightly rate depending on the day of the week, switch the button on and enter the rate for each weekday.

Minimum stay per weekday

The longest minimum stay requirement applicable during the entire booking period will be considered when determining the minimum length of stay required for a booking. If there are different minimum stay requirements for different dates within the booking period, the longest minimum stay requirement for the entire booking period will be applicable.

🔎 Example: Imagine you set a minimum stay of 2 nights for Monday and 3 nights for Tuesday. If a guest wants to check in on Monday, they will need to book a minimum stay from Monday to Thursday, adhering to the longest minimum stay requirement of 3 nights across the entire booking period.

💡 Note: If you have multiple rental types (legacy feature), you can enter a minimum stay per weekday per rental type.

Occupancy If you wish for the season rate to apply only up to a certain number of guests whilst applying an additional charge for any subsequent guest, switch the button onNow you can enter the extra charge per guest per night.

To change the number of guests, you will need to adjust the occupancy section in the default rate section of your rental.

Example: If your nightly rate is €80 and you configure an extra charge of €20 after the 4th guest, a reservation for 1-4 guests will cost €80. A reservation for 5 guests will cost €100 whilst a reservation for 6 guests will cost €120.

 Short stay price

If you wish to apply an extra charge when the stay is too short, switch the button on. Enter the number of nights and the charge amount per night.

Example - if you enter 2 nights, the short stay charge will apply to stays of 1 or 2 nights.

💡 Note: This setting does not override a minimum stay. If you set a minimum stay of 3 nights, the short stay will not allow guests to book for 1 or 2 nights.

Check-in/check-out restrictions

To restrict check-in and check-out to certain weekdays only, switch the button on and tick the days when check-in and check-out are allowed.

💡 Note: Make sure to Save after creating a season rate.

To edit an existing season rate, simply click on it in the season rates list, and make your desired changes.
