Connect your website with MailChimp for email marketing. Offer your customers to sign up for newsletters and special offers that you send out regularly so you can collect email addresses via MailChimp and build up a database. You can connect MailChimp directly to your website or use a different design via GetSiteControl.

Connect MailChimp directly to your website
For a direct connection:
- Go to your Main Menu in the top left corner and select Marketplace.
- Select MailChimp, and sign in or create an account on Mailchimp.
- Copy your Mailchimp API key and Audience/List ID.
- Paste them in Lodgify, at the bottom of the page.
Your customers will see the option to subscribe to your newsletter above the footer of every page on your website.
Use a different design for your signup form
If you prefer a different design than the standard bar above the footer, you could connect MailChimp externally through the MailChimp signup popup or a little icon on the sidebar.

Create and personalize a signup form directly in MailChimp and use it as a pop-up on your website. To implement the form on your website, you need to insert the code in a Raw HTML Widget on your homepage. Find out how to create a MailChimp signup form.
💡 Note: The pop-up would usually be implemented only on one page and would not be accessible to the guest anymore once it has been closed.
