When connecting your OTAs to Lodgify, you might want to set up things differently from your Lodgify website. For example, you may want to assign specific charges, such as fees, taxes, or discounts, to certain OTAs. It could be applying a different cleaning fee for Booking.com than the one shown on your Lodgify website.
If you have charges that you want to differentiate for Airbnb, Vrbo, and/or Booking.com, you can set a custom value per channel for that charge.
💡 Notes: To assign a charge to an OTA, the rental must already be connected to the channel manager.
To set a custom value per channel, follow these steps:
- Go to your left-hand menu and select Rentals.
- Select the rental that you want to configure and select Pricing.
- Click the relevant section: Fees, Taxes, or Discounts.
- Select the charge you want to manage.
- Enable the Custom setup per channel toggle for that charge.
- Enter a value for each channel. To exclude the charge from a channel completely, set that channel's value to 0.
💡 Note: The custom setup per channel option only appears for channels that support the charge. If a channel does not support it, the option to set a value for that channel is not shown. You can find details about what is imported to and exported from the channel manager for each channel here.
