For your website, Airbnb, and Vrbo

If you want to send your Pet Fee to your website, Airbnb, and/or Vrbo, you will need to indicate that pets are accepted in your house rules and create a fee. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your left-hand menu and select Rentals.
  2. Then click on the rental you want to edit, and go to Overview.
  3. Click the pencil next to house rules and select Pets allowed.
💡 Note: If you're using the Prices & Availability synchronization type for Airbnb, this information must be added directly on Airbnb.
  4. Then, select Pricing.
  5. Scroll down to the Fees section and add a new pet fee. You can configure the pet fee as per pet per stay, or per pet per night.
💡 Note: If you configure the pet fee as a single charge per stay, it will be automatically applied to all website bookings. Additionally, you must enable the "guest count breakdown" in your website's display preferences.
  6. The “Short Stay Restriction” in the pet fee settings is not supported, so make sure to leave the Short Stay Restriction toggle off.
  7. If you want to set a different pet fee per channel, toggle on Custom setup per channel and add different pet fees.

For Booking.com

Pet fees are not synced with Booking.com.

However, if you have full synchronization enabled and the “Pets Allowed” house rule is turned on, guests will see that pets are allowed and that charges may apply.
Guests must then contact you directly to confirm whether their pets are allowed and to find out the applicable fee.
The Pet Fee is then paid directly at the property upon arrival. Screenshot 2025-11-20 at 15.45.25.png
To turn on the “Pets Allowed” house rule, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your left-hand menu and select Rentals. Then click on the rental you want to edit, and go to Overview.
  2. Click the pencil next to house rules and select Pets allowed.

For Expedia

Fees and taxes are not sent from Lodgify to Expedia and need to be managed in your Expedia account.
