FAQ
Why did I receive an email with a Lodgify Payments invoice?
You received a Lodgify Payments invoice because it includes the fees for any bookings processed through Vrbo or your website using Lodgify Payments. The invoice reflects all Lodgify Payments transaction fees for that month.
🔎 For example: If a guest books and pays on October 5, the invoice for that booking will be issued and sent between November 1 and 5.
Which bookings are the invoices for? The invoice doesn’t list the booking IDs.
Invoices for Lodgify Payments fees and Transaction Fees include every booking processed through Lodgify Payments during the previous month. Although the booking IDs are not shown on the invoice, all charges correspond to those bookings.
What is the Transaction Fee invoice?
The Transaction Fee invoice includes the fees applied to all payments processed through the payment gateway you have configured in Lodgify (e.g., Stripe, Braintree, Lodgify Payments). You can learn more about the Transaction Fee here.
Why does the invoice I received by email not include all the fees that have been deducted?
The invoice you receive by email only covers Lodgify Payments fees. The Transaction Fee invoice, which you can download from your Lodgify account, covers the transaction fees. By combining the two invoices, you can see the total amount of fees deducted for that month.
🔎 Example: fees breakdown for a month:
| Details | Amount |
| Payment amount | $900 |
| Transaction Fee (1% + taxes) | $9.00 (invoice downloadable on Lodgify) |
| Lodgify Payments Fee (Domestic fee 2.90% + $0.30) | $26.40 (invoice emailed) |
| Total Fees | $35.40 (Transaction Fee + Lodgify Payments Fee) |
| Payout Amount | $864.60 |
Are these invoices due for payment?
The Lodgify Payments Fee and Transaction Fee invoices are not due for payment, as the amounts have already been deducted from your payout. These invoices are therefore shown as paid.
