In Germany, the reporting system depends on the federal state (Bundesland) where the accommodation is located. Each state may use a different system for submitting guest data, such as Meldewesen, AVS (Allgemeines Verwaltungs-Service GmbH), or other regional tourism authorities.
It’s also important to note that the three fields that need to be configured in Lodgify, Objekt-ID, Firma-ID, and Kurverwaltung-ID, are provided by the local municipality (Gemeinde). Accommodation providers must request these credentials from their municipal office, as they are required to send guest data via the web service through Lodgify.
Connect to AVS Germany
To connect with AVS Germany, follow these steps:
- AVS has currently only enabled the integration in the regions of :
- Sellin,
- Glowe,
- Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler,
- Rust,
- Bad Krozingen,
- Hesse.
If you have rentals located in a different region, you can contact us to request activation for your area. We will assist in enabling the interface for your municipality. You will need to provide the following PDF issued by the authorities:
- Once the municipality has activated the connection, they will provide you with a PDF document containing the necessary credentials (Objekt-ID, Firma-ID, and Kurverwaltung-ID). Keep these credentials safe, as you will need them to configure the connection with Lodgify.
- Once you have your credentials, go on Lodgify and if you haven’t done so already, you will first need to activate the guest registration feature.
- Once activated, you will need to complete this section in the Guest Registration Form for Authorities tab in Lodgify for each rental you manage:

Fill out the following data:
- Objekt-ID: It identifies your property in the police registration system and ensures guest data is correctly linked to the legally responsible accommodation.
- Firma-ID: It identifies the legal entity operating the accommodation business. If a company owns multiple properties, this ID ensures they are all linked to the correct business entity. It may be associated with the company’s Steuernummer (Tax Number) or Handelsregisternummer (Commercial Register Number).

Kurverwaltung-ID: It is used in specific tourist or spa regions (Kurorte). It links your property to the local tourism authority for reporting guest data, collecting tourist tax (Kurtaxe), and statistical purposes.

Guest data is sent to AVS daily at 10:00 AM UTC. The entire guest group is sent together, so please make sure all guests are registered in Lodgify before that time. If you make any modifications to guest data, these can be sent as long as they are done before the data is printed. In the case of cancellations, guest data can be erased from your AVS account only if the data has not yet been printed.
