In the Lazio region, ISTAT data reporting has transitioned from the RADAR platform, which will no longer be operational, to the new ROSS1000 platform.
The first step is to create an account on ROSS1000. Once your account is set up, you will need to update the ISTAT connection by selecting Lazio – ROSS1000.
In order to send data via web service, follow these steps:
- If you haven’t done so already, you will first need to activate the guest registration feature in Lodgify.
- Once activated, you will need to complete this section in the Guest Registration Form for Authorities tab in Lodgify for each rental you manage:
💡 Note: If you access your ROSS1000 account using SPID, you will need to generate a password by clicking the button below. This is the password you will enter in Lodgify.
The username and facility code can be found inside your Ross1000 account, usually in the profile or master data section. - Add your username and password in Lodgify.
If it doesn’t work, we recommend reaching out to giesturismo@gies.sm, the support contact for GIES (the ISTAT platform). Let them know that you want to send data to ISTAT via web service and that you need a username and password. - You will also need to complete the Codice Struttura field with the code assigned to the rental in your ISTAT account. To find it, log in to your ISTAT account and go to Anagrafica and then Profilo Struttura. There, you will see a field called Codice Struttura. Copy and paste that code into Lodgify.
- You will also need to add the following information in Lodgify:
- Room quantity
- Beds quantity
The correct values for these fields can be found in your Turismo5/ROSS1000 account under Anagrafica and then Gestione Strutture.
Click on the relevant rental, and you will find the Room quantity (Tot. Camere) and the Beds quantity (Tot. Letti).
- Add this data in Lodgify, then save the changes.
From that moment on, Lodgify will automatically send the data to ROSS1000/Turismo5 at 11:00 PM on the check-in date. You can view the guest data in the Storico Ospiti tab on the ISTAT website, and the occupancy data in Check-in and then Gestione Disponibilità.
Important: In the ISTAT software-to-software integration, the document type and document number fields are not transmitted, as the ISTAT API neither requires nor supports them. These fields appear only when entering data manually on the ISTAT website. Their purpose is to allow users to generate a file for submission to the Police Alloggiati portal, which does require them. However, these fields are not mandatory for ISTAT itself and are not part of ISTAT’s data schema for API-based (software-to-software) submissions. Their presence in the manual interface is solely to support police reporting requirements, not ISTAT data collection.
