If the following pricing settings aren’t being applied during a booking simulation (or real booking), it’s likely due to how and where these settings are enabled.
- Occupancy Charges — added to the nightly price when the number of guests exceeds your threshold.
- Short Stay Price — added to the nightly price when the number of nights is equal to or less than your defined minimum.
These settings must be enabled:
- In the Pricing section - to apply to dates not included in any season rates
- In each individual season rate.
If you simulate a booking on the website (or in your Lodgify account) and one of these pricing settings is not applying, please follow the instructions below:
- Are the dates you are simulating the booking for included in a Season Rate?
- If yes: check that the specific setting is enabled within the individual season rate.
- If no, check that the specific setting in enabled within the Pricing section of your rental, in the Base Price box.
💡Note: Nightly Overrides Disable Short Stay Prices
If nightly overrides are applied to your dates, the short stay price won’t be used.
- Go to your Multi Calendar
- Locate the dates in question
- If prices appear in blue, it means Nightly Overrides are active and override all other pricing rules.
💡Note: Using External Rates Disables Short Stay Prices
If you’ve connected an external pricing tool (like PriceLabs or Beyond Pricing):
- Occupancy charges are synced from the external tool.
- Short stay prices will not apply.
To check if you’re using External Rates:
- Go to Settings > External Rates
If the toggle is on for the rental, it means external rates are in use.
