- Homeit is available in EU countries only.
- Homeit offers its own smart locks and is also compatible with other smart lock brands, such as Nuki.
Set up the connection between Lodgify and Homeit
The connection will be established on Homeit side, during your onboarding. You will be asked to send your Lodgify API key ; you can find here where to get it.
After the integration is established, your Lodgify and Homeit listings will be connected and the following information will be imported into Homeit:
- Property street and number
- Country
- City
- Check-in / check-out times
- Instructions for guests
Once the connection is complete, properties and reservations should be managed on Lodgify, while key codes and the Send Guest Code feature must be handled on Homeit. The property name, country, city, guest instructions, and check-in/check-out times can be managed on either Lodgify or Homeit.
Send the key code to your guests
Different key codes will be assigned to each reservation, and a guest invitation link will be generated for each reservation that must be sent to the guest. You can either copy the link and manually send it to the guest at your preferred time via Lodgify, or use the placeholder {{KeyCode}} in your custom automatic responses and saved replies, which can be scheduled to send to the guest before check-in.
Note that the automatic response called "Notify Guest of entry codes 1 day before check-in or immediately for same-day reservations" works only when the Smart Locks system is enabled and no other system is active.
