PM Modules - How to start setting up PM Modules

✨ Feature exclusive to the Ultimate Plan!

If you are just getting started with the setup of your Property Management Modules, we will give you an outline of which important steps to follow and how to start, so you make sure you can use our PM Modules to their full potential.

From our point of view, the PM Modules have three main abilities: Task management, Guest management, and Owner statements.
Once you have activated your PM Modules in your Lodgify account (by subscribing to our Ultimate plan), you would follow the below steps.

  1. Invite users: To ensure all your team members can start using PM Modules to access and complete tasks, you'll need to invite each user, manage their roles and permissions, and assign them a rental. Learn more about adding and managing user accounts.
Once your users receive and accept their invitation, they’ll be able to access the PM Modules with the restrictions you’ve set

  2. Create tasks: You can start creating tasks for your bookings either manually, or you set up job templates and create scheduled jobs which will be automatically created with each booking. You can assign these jobs directly to one of your users or to a specific role, so anyone available can assign this job to themselves.
💡 Note: As long as you don't have an active user that is suitable for a specific job, the tasks will appear in red in the task calendar.

  3. Set up your Guest App: By default, the guest module will start straight away to send out online check-in forms once PM Modules is activated. Make sure you have at least the basic setup done, so your guests receive these communications with the correct logo and requirements (or deactivate the guest module for the time being). Learn how to set up the Guest App.

  4. Set up your Owner statements Module: To be able to account for your business and create payments you first need to set up Recipients and their Payment Strategies. Then you can start creating Statements and Payments. Learn more about our Owner statements Module.

Once you have the above set up your PM Modules are fully functioning and your day-to-day tasks should get so much easier to handle and you will be able to see your results in your Reports.
