Monitor transactions and occupancy with reports

The Reports section of your Lodgify account helps you keep an overview of all transactions, and current occupancy of your rentals including guest arrivals, departures, and who is currently staying in your rentals.

How to access Reports

To access Reports in your Lodgify account, go to your Main Menu in the top left corner and select Reports. You will now be able to click on the following menu options to the left:

๐Ÿ’ก Note: As Lodgify Payments is now Payyo, you can access Transaction and Payout reports in your Payyo account.

Understanding Reports

In your reports section, you can see and download today's check-ins, check-outs and a list of current ongoing bookings as well as search a specific booking. In your Transaction reports, you can see each payment and refund that you have received or is scheduled within Lodgify.

Section Function
Today's check-ins Shows reservation details of all bookings with check-in for today's date. Click on a reservation to view it in the Reservation inbox of your account.
Today's check-outs Shows reservation details of all bookings with check-out for today's date. Click on a reservation to view it in the Reservation inbox of your account.
Currently hosting Shows reservation details of all bookings with guests currently staying at one of your rentals. Click on a reservation to view it in the Reservation inbox of your account.
Booking Transactions

Shows all payments that you have received and refunds that you have made through Lodgify. The information that you can see is:

  • Guest name
  • Type: Registers if the transaction was a payment or a refund
  • Status: Shows if the transaction is done, processing, failed or canceled ๐Ÿ’ก Note: A failed transaction would be due to an error from the payment gateway, e.g. a wrong credit card number. A canceled transaction usually refers to an expired quote.
  • Trans. date: Shows the date the transaction was made
  • Transaction Id
  • Reference: Booking reference
  • Amount: Amount you have received/refunded in this specific transaction

If you click on a specific transaction, a new slider will open up where you can see further details about the payment, e.g. which payment gateway was used and can also see if there are further payments scheduled for this booking. If you click on the Booking reference you will be directed to the receptive booking in the Reservation System.2019-11-27_1549_001.png

Scheduled Transactions

Shows all payments and refunds that were scheduled in Lodgify but are still outstanding. The information that you can see is:

  • Guest name
  • Type: Registers if the transaction is a payment or a refund
  • Status: Shows if the transaction is overdue or scheduled for the future
  • Trans. date: Shows the date the transaction is due.
    ๐Ÿ’ก Note: On agreement date refers to a quote that is pending or expired.
  • Transaction Id
  • Reference: Booking reference
  • Amount: Amount that is scheduled to be paid/refunded in this specific transaction

If you click on a specific transaction, a new slider will open up where you can see the details of the scheduled payment and can click on the Booking reference to be directed to the receptive booking in the Reservation System.
