In the Reports, you find all the information you need to understand how your business is doing. Whether you are a rental owner or you work for an agency, this section provides you with powerful information. Check your occupancy, money incomes, cancellations, and much more. In all graphics, you can select any dates and rentals in order to receive specific information about certain rentals for a specific period. This article will give you some basic information about what you can find in the Analytics section of the Reports.

💡 Notes:

  • This article explains the Analytics section of the reports only. You can find information on the daily management and the transaction reports here.
  • Be aware that the information in the Analytics is not updated instantly. So any changes will take some time to be reflected in the statistics.

Important information about the graphics

You can choose the rental(s) you want to see, the dates and to get more details on a section, click on any graphic in the overview to expand it.

If you're on a specific chart, you can compare it with other times of the year by adding to the graphic up to four periods preceding the selected one.

Example: If you select data for the month of May 2023, you can compare it with data up until January 2023.Screenshot 2025-02-14 at 11.00.31.png

If you have multiple currencies in your rentals, you can filter reports related to revenue or price by currency:Screenshot 2024-10-11 at 09.31.08.png

You also have many interesting features: if you want the exact value of each data entry, hover the mouse over the pie sections and lines.

💡 Note: Information from deleted rentals is not displayed in any graphic or table, and canceled bookings are never taken into account except in the cancellation statistics.

To compare exact figures of those periods, you can use the tables broken down by period and by rental underneath. Color codes are: green if better than the same value from the previous period; red if not. This means that the comparison is done horizontally in the table.

Information included in the graphs

Graph

Notes

Revenue This graph displays the total amount earned from bookings, excluding any canceled ones. It includes taxes and fees. So, it gives you an overview of how much money your rental(s) has generated over a specific period.
Channel revenue This graph breaks down the total revenue by different channels for a specific check-in date range. It helps you see which channels are generating the most income.
Guests hosted This graph provides a count of all the guests who have stayed at your property, including check-in and check-out dates. This gives you a clear picture of how many people have experienced your space.
Occupation rate This percentage represents how many of your rentals are occupied compared to the total number of rentals you have. It gives an idea of how well your rentals are used.
Nights filled

This graph tells you how many nights have been booked. Reservation check-out dates are not taken into consideration.

🔎 For example: if you have 5 rentals and 3 of them are booked for a particular day, this graph will show that 3 nights are sold for that day.

Reservations created

This graph counts the number of reservations made on a specific date (based on the date the booking was created) and does not take into consideration any canceled reservations. It's not related to the actual stay dates.

🔎 For example: if a reservation is made for the next month today, it counts as 1 for today.

Average price per night This graph calculates the average price per night for a specific check-in date range. It's calculated by dividing the average booking price by the average booking length.
Average booking price

This graph provides the average booking price within a designated check-in date range. It's calculated by summing all booking amounts and then dividing by the total number of bookings.
🔎 For example: you have a check-in date range that covers 2 months and in that range, you have a total of 10 bookings. Let's say the total amount paid for all bookings is $8,000. To find the average booking price, you would divide $8,000 by 10 (the total number of bookings). This gives you the average price per booking for that period, which would be $800 for this given scenario.

💡 Note: If you have only 1 reservation on the selected date range, then it will be the total amount itself since it will be the average. If you have no bookings, then it will be 0.

Nights booked

This graph reveals the total number of nights booked for a specific date and does not take into consideration any canceled reservations.

🔎 For example: if a reservation is made today for a 5-night stay in the next month, it counts as 5 nights for today.

Booking days in avance

This graph assesses the lead time for reservations. For instance, if a booking for a future stay is made today, it's counted as a certain number of advance days. This provides valuable insights into your guests' booking behavior.

🔎 For example: if you receive a reservation today for a check-in in 15 days, then it is calculated as 15. If you receive several reservations in a day, then it calculates the average. So if you receive two reservations today for check-ins in 30 days later and 12 days later respectively, then it is calculated as ( 30 + 12 ) / 2 = 21.
This report takes the check-in date into account while calculating the advance days

Average reservation length

This graph indicates the average length of stay for a specific check-in date range. It helps you understand how long, on average, guests are staying in your rentals.

🔎 For example: you have a check-in date range that covers 2 months and in that range, you have bookings for 5 days, 7 days, and 10 days, the average length of stay would be (5 + 7 + 10) / 3 = 7.33 days. This means, on average, guests are staying for about 7.33 days in your rental(s) within that specified date range.

Reservations cancelled This graph displays the total number of reservations that were canceled on a specific date. It helps you track how many reservations didn't go through.
Nights cancelled This graph illustrates the total number of nights that were part of the reservations canceled on a specific date. It helps you understand the impact of cancellations on your reservations.
Nights per channel Similar to the channel revenue one, this graph breaks down the total number of nights booked by different channels for a specific check-in date range. It provides insights into where your reservations are coming from.
