Instructions depend on your account version. To see the correct instructions, follow these steps:

Go to the left-hand menu and select Calendar
Then choose the version you see in your account:

Former version


New version
(with a Tasks section)

To view instructions, identify your account version above and click the corresponding button.

Former version

No matter if you are a check-in agent, part of the cleaning staff, or a rental manager, anybody in the PM Modules can have assigned tasks.
To complete a job, you can either use the mobile app or the PM Modules website. Learn how to complete tasks in the Lodgify mobile app here.

To complete a task on the desktop version, follow these steps:
  1. Go to the PM Modules section, and select Tasks from the sidebar menu.
  2. Then choose My Tasks, where you can see all the jobs that are assigned to you. They are organized in different tabs depending on the status of the task: Current tasks you can complete now, Upcoming tasks you can't complete yet, and Completed tasks have already been completed in the past.
  3. Now choose the task you want to complete and click the View icon. Here you will see all the instructions you need, to complete the job.Screenshot
  4. When you mark the task as done by ticking it, the system will automatically calculate the time spent on it and display this information:

  5. In case there are any task items, you will need to complete each in order to mark the job as completed.
    💡 Note: Click the (?) icon next to the task to find a description.
  6. If the job creator has requested a picture for a task to be completed, click Add picture to upload at least one photo. Until you have uploaded a picture for all tasks, you will not be able to complete the job.

  7. Once you have finished the job, just tick the V box to complete it, and it will be moved to the tab Completed.

💡 Note: If the job will need to be inspected by someone, the Inspector will need to Approve it. If it's declined, the job will be marked as uncompleted, and you will see it again in your list of current jobs.

Once all tasks are marked as completed, your job will automatically be submitted as completed.
💡 Note: If you still need to amend something, you can click Uncomplete. 

When you completed a job, it will be shown in the Timeline and, if the job has somebody assigned to inspect it, the inspector will receive a notification. If the inspector rejects the job, you will be notified and the job will appear once again in your list of Current jobs.

New version

If you created a task for yourself, or if someone created a task and assigned it to you or your team, you can follow up by claiming the task and completing it.
To complete a task, follow these steps:
  1. Go to the Calendar section and select Tasks.
  2. Select the month and click on the task you want to complete.
    1. If the task is not yet assigned, you can click Claim task to take it.
    2. Once it’s assigned to you, click Mark as completed.
  3. If the task includes a checklist, you will be able to tick each item to indicate that it has been completed. If there are mandatory photos for some items, you will be required to upload a photo in order to complete those checklist items.
  4. If the task requires inspection, the inspector will need to approve it. If it’s declined, the task will reappear in the task list with a Pending status.
