Synchronize Lodgify with your listings on external booking channels, so that your availability is always up-to-date, and reservation details can be accessed in your Lodgify reservation system.
We differentiate between two types of connections, one is via API, it allows the synchronization and management of reservations and rates via your Lodgify reservation system.
The second connection type is via iCal, it only updates your availability calendar.
We always recommend using the API connection. Only in the case that Lodgify is not used as the central reservation system, you might prefer to just synchronize your calendars via standard iCal.
Go to your Main Menu in the top left corner and access the Channel Manager to see the different connections you can set up.
Once a rental is connected, you can see which booking channels it is connected to in the Rental Overview.
💡 Note: The VRBO icon shows once the connection has been set up on Lodgify side. Do keep in mind that in order to complete the synchronization setup, VRBO must take steps on their end. Learn more.

These channels are synchronized via iCal. To synchronize calendar availabilities with other external channels such as HomeAway, Tripadvisor, and any other channel that supports iCal, use the Calendar Import / Export Tool. The calendar synchronizes every 2h. |
