If you have a property with several rooms or apartments you can choose to set it up either as one property with several room/rental types or as a property with several units. The difference here is that if the room amenities or price changes for each of them, you need to set them up individually as different room/rental types. If your description, photos, amenities, and prices would be identical for each room, you need to activate the Bookable Units App, so you don't need to set up each room individually and can have an unlimited amount of units in your properties.
💡 Note: If you want to import reservations from external sources such as booking.com we always recommend to set up each room as a separate rental type.
To set up your property with multiple rooms or apartments:
- Go to Menu and select My Properties.
- Click Add property or choose the property you want to add the room or unit to, click Edit and go to Overview.
- Scroll down to Rental types.
|Add multiple rooms/rental types||If you have various apartments in the same property but their amenities differ (i.e. one has a private bathroom, the other one doesn't) and you want to rent them out for different prices, set up different rental types. Also, if you connect your website to the booking.com channel manager you should set up rental types, not units. To add another rental type to a property:

To add multiple units of an identical room or apartment, simply fill in the details and select the number of units you have of this specific room / rental type. If your Bookable Units App is not activated yet, you will see a warning, that even though you fill in more units, only one unit will be made available in your calendar.
