How-to check the connection status with Vrbo

The connection to Vrbo is completed in two steps:

You submit the request through Lodgify.
Lodgify will enable the synchronization on our side.
Vrbo contacts you directly to finalize the connection.
They will confirm the listing mapping and next steps.

How to check if the connection has been finalized

Go to the Channel Manager section in your Lodgify account and look at the Listing Status for Vrbo.

Here is what each status means:

Published: The connection is complete, and your listing is live on Vrbo.
Unpublished: The connection is complete, but your listing is currently not public on Vrbo.
Tip: you can publish your listing in the Sync Settings section of your rental in Lodgify.
Pending for Vrbo updates: This status appears in two cases:
- Vrbo has not yet finalized the connection
- Vrbo has finalized the connection, but you made changes to your listing (e.g. name, description, amenities, address, or photos). Vrbo is processing these updates.
  
  Pending for Vrbo updates does not mean the sync has stopped working - it simply indicates Vrbo is updating your listing. The status usually updates to Published or Unpublished within 24 hours.

Check your inbox - Vrbo should contact you by email to confirm your listing is live.

If Vrbo hasn't contacted you, it could be for one of these reasons:

You haven't completed the Vrbo Onboarding form.
Please fill out the form here so Vrbo can reach out to you.
Your listing is missing required details.
Make sure your rental in Lodgify includes:
- Includes a title with at least 20 characters - in all active languages.
- Includes a description with at least 400 characters - in all active languages.
- Includes at least 6 high resolution photos.
- Uses the same currency used in Vrbo.

💡 Note: if any of these are missing, Vrbo won't be able to finalize your connection.
