How-to understand the prices showing on your website

If the prices displayed for your rentals on the All Properties page or at the bottom of your rental’s page seem wrong to you, you can either:

  1. Hide prices
You can do so in the Price display section of your website's advanced settings.

  2. Adjust them based on the logic of the lowest price associated with the lowest minimum stay
To choose the rental lowest price to display on the website the system will look at all minimum stays and prices you configured for your rental.
    1. First, look for the lowest minimum stay. When searching, consider the minimum stays set in:
        1. The availability Section
        2. The season rates
        3. The calendar - if you have used the nightly override.
      1. From all sections mentioned above, locate the lowest minimum stay.
      2. Then, check the prices associated with the lowest minimum stay.
      3. The lowest price associated with the lowest minimum stay will be the price showing on your website.

Example

In the Availability section of your rental you have set a minimum stay of 3 nights. The price associated with it - configured in the Pricing section - is a 200$.
Then you have two season rates:

  • Season Rate 1: minimum stay 3 nights, price per night 150$
  • Season Rate 2: minimum stay 2 nights, price per night 300$
  • You also have a nightly override set for one night with a minimum stay of 2 nights, and a price per night of 325$.

What is the price that will display on the website?

First, we locate the lowest minimum stay.

  • It is two nights: first in the season rate, and then in the nightly override.

Then we locate the lowest price associated with 2 nights.

  • It’s 300$ - from the season rate.

The price that will display on the website is from 300$.
