Issue with Google Vacation Rentals Connection for New Listings

We're currently experiencing a technical issue affecting new listings connected to Google Vacation Rentals through Lodgify. This issue applies only to connection requests made after January 26th, 2025.

What’s the problem?

When connecting your rental to Google via Lodgify, we send all necessary data, including content, pricing, availability, and photos. However, during the final step, we must also send the URL of your property's landing page (i.e., the page where guests can view your listing and book it).

Currently, Google is unable to process this landing page URL, which prevents the listing from going live. Although the listing is technically created on Google’s side, it remains unpublished without a valid landing page, which is essential for users to book your property.

Google has acknowledged the issue is on their side and is working on a resolution.

We know how important it is for your rental to be visible on Google, and we understand the frustration this may cause, especially if you've just joined Lodgify.
We're committed to resolving this together with Google as quickly as possible.

Who is affected?

Not affected: Listings connected to Google before January 26th, 2025. These remain active and visible on Google.

Affected: Listings connected after January 26th, 2025. These are not live on Google due to the landing page issue.

How do I know if my listing is affected?

In your Lodgify Channel Manager, the connection status for Google will show "Missing requirements".

This status indicates that the listing cannot go live due to the missing landing page, caused by the issue described above.

What is Lodgify doing?

  • We are in direct contact with Google and collaborating to resolve the problem.
  • Google has confirmed the issue is on their end.
  • We will update this page as soon as a fix is in place and affected listings can go live.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact our support team.

What should I do?

There’s no action needed on your part. Once Google fixes the issue, your listing will be published automatically.

We recommend checking this article periodically for updates.

How can I know when the issue will be resolved?

If you are affected, we will notify you by email once the issue is resolved.
